PRIVACY NOTICE FOR USERS ACCESSING THE WEBSITE
TRANSFORM is Germany's leading B2B event for digital transformation, organised by Bitkom — the German digital industry association — and held at STATION Berlin. Over two days, the event brought together more than 5,000 decision-makers: CEOs, CDOs, CIOs, COOs and digital experts from across industries and company sizes.
Accessiway at TRANSFORM
Accessiway's presence went well beyond the stand. Visitors could fuel up at our coffee bike — a popular meeting point on the expo floor — while connecting with our team and exploring what digital accessibility means in practice for large organisations. Our stand hosted an accessible competition and one-to-one accessibility audits.
Our Speech: "Digital Accessibility at Global Scale"
Delivered in German to an audience of senior digital and transformation leaders, the session started with a moment of recognition rather than a pitch: most companies in the room had already done something on accessibility. And yet the web remains broken for millions of people. The opening sequence walked the audience through a typical website visit as experienced by a screen reader user, layering in pop-up notifications, chatbots, newsletter overlays and cookie banners until the page becomes completely unusable.
Using Ursapharm Arzneimittel — a pharmaceutical company with 84+ digital assets across 18 markets — as a live case study, the session presented a five-step framework for managing accessibility at enterprise scale. The session closed with the business case — brand differentiation, financial advantage, SEO and GEO performance, improved UX and higher conversion rates.
